LeaseLine Rent Ledger is a rent ledger and prorated rent calculator for small landlords and property managers. Give it the lease terms and the payments you received, typed or as a CSV or Excel file, and it builds a tenant ledger: rent charged each month, prorated move-in and move-out months, late fees by your lease rule, payments applied to the oldest charge first, a running balance, and the amount due as of any date. Download a clean PDF tenant ledger statement, an Excel workbook, and a CSV.
What it does
- Prorated rent for move-in and move-out with three methods side by side: actual days in the month, 30-day month, and 365-day year
- Tenant rent ledger with monthly charges, partial payments, overpayment credit carried forward, and a running balance
- Late fees by lease rule: flat, percent of rent, daily with a cap, or flat plus daily, after a grace period
- Payments typed in chat or read from a CSV or Excel file with date and amount columns
- Rent increases mid-lease, other charges (utilities, pet rent, returned check fee) and credits
- PDF tenant ledger statement, Excel workbook (ledger, rent by month, summary), and CSV
